Allstar Athletics was founded in May 2002 and is owned by Stan and Patrice Stec.
Our success on the competition floor has continued and we are beginning to be recognized nationally. We believe we are one of the top programs in the Midwest as evidenced by our results. Through the end of April 2010, our teams, stunt groups, duo, and individual competitors have finished FIRST or SECOND at major national championships in each of the past eight years. The senior level 5 team also earned two bids to the 2006 Worlds competition, advanced to FINALS in 2007 and participatd in the 2008 USASF Worlds Competition. See our Awards page for details. Our program has also been recognized or featured several times in national industry publications.
Our intent from the beginning was not to become the largest program in terms of enrollment, but to become the best overall cheerleading program of choice. Limiting the number of teams allows us to focus and offer more attention to our teams and to help support school and recreational teams. We expect more from our athletes and they get more in return.
As a Cheerleading Training Center, our purpose is also to provide cheerleading and tumbling training to individuals and teams from school and recreational programs. We have trained hundreds of individuals who are members of some of the best teams in the Chicago area including state champions.
We would like to thank our founding team members and their families, which without them, this program would not exist. It was their support, encouragement and most importantly their trust which gave us the confidence to launch this program, which we believe will become one of the most successful in the country. For this we will always be grateful. THANK YOU!
As always, we will strive to continue to improve our program both from a competitive and administrative perspective. Our commitment to you is to provide an all-star cheerleading program at a heightened level.
One of our guiding principles is to offer the best possible certified coaches. We expect our coaches to have prior coaching experience and to have been a member of a championship caliber cheerleading or tumbling program. We have been able to accomplish this both for cheerleading and tumbling. Please see the Staff page for information about their background. In addition, each of our teams are assigned a minimum of two coaches and we strive to maintain a student to coach ratio of 6-7:1 in our tumbling classes.
Success is not achieved through good coaching alone. Our parents are very supportive of the athletes and their children. We ask the parents to ensure their child attends all practices, participates in tumbling classes, and to provide overall positive encouragement. By partnering, our potential is unlimited.
"The achievements of an organization are the results of the combined effort of each individual."
Another of our guiding principles is to create an environment conducive to building championship teams. This includes a good training facility. We have designed a facility to accomplish this. Our gym was featured in CheerBiz News, a national industry publication, which quoted "this facility has everything a cheerleader would ever want". Please visit our Facility page for a list of features included in our newly designed and built for cheerleading training center. In 2010 we expanded adding a secong cheer floor.
We are committed to provide an all-star cheerleading program at a "higher level". This will be achieved with higher expectations from our coaches, higher skill requirements from our athletes, and by choreographing more difficult and creative routines.
If you are willing to work hard, be a team player, have a positive attitude, contribute to building a national championship program and have fun at it, then Allstar Athletics is the cheerleading program for you.
To provide a safe and competitive all-star program where our "grass is greener" so participants can:
- Excel in the sport of cheerleading
- Build lasting friendships
- Develop teamwork, sportsmanship and leadership
- Achieve their personal cheerleading goals
- Have fun!
